Transfer an existing domain:
You can transfer an existing domain to getname.com with no downtime for your website. There is no fee to transfer, but you will be charged $19.00 which will add 1 year to your current domain registration time remaining. 

Note: Domains cannot be transferred if:

  • The domain was registered (transferred) less than 60 days ago
  • The domain is on HOLD for any reason
  • Existing registrar has the name locked for either non payment or at the end users request
  • The domain name has expired or is in the last 4 days prior to  expiration
  • You don't have access to the current Admin Contact e-mail or Admin Contact doesn't approve the transfer within 5 days after the request or Admin Contact cancels the transfer request 

    **If any transfer request is rejected due to any of the above reasons, your credit card will be charged a $5.00 processing fee.

    Refund/Credit Card Policy:
    We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express! Since a domain name is owned once it is registered and we have no way to reverse or change a name we have a no refund policy on domain names. We wish this wasn't the case since customer satisfaction is SO important to us. So, PLEASE when registering a name make sure it is the name you want with the proper spelling.
